Brown Boots for Winter
Since people seemed to like the pair of brown boots in the last look I wanted to post allllll the brown boots I went through to find those. My second favorites to the Cordani Orlando's were the Born Whitley's. I thought they were stylish and much more reasonable. $175 vs. $385- yikes. Also, the reviews on Zappos said they were super comfortable so after I recover from the holiday season I'm ordering a pair.

My latest look: Staying warm in January
Pairing this Marc by Marc Jacobs Brushed Cotton Twill Dress with wool knit tights and Cordoni suede boots means I stay warm without bulky layers. The Lanvin bag is stylish, I think, but roomy, and the leather matches the overall soft look of the outfit.
Yes! Someone posted the Facebook Intern Story!
So many great links today, but I wanted to quickly say that I love this story- apparently an intern wrote his boss an email saying he had a family emergency, only to be outed the next day by facebook pics of him, in costume, partying with his friends.

There is a new intern on my team who has called in "sick" on a couple
of occasions. If you scroll down to the bottom you can see the email
from him yesterday to my boss Paul saying that he wouldn't be able to
come into work today because of a "family emergency". A co-worker of
mine pulled up his face book page (similar to my-space) and found
pictures of him at a party last night- so he basically said he had to
go to NY for a family emergency because he wanted to party in
Worcester for Halloween. Below is Paul's response to him…he BCC'd
the whole office
